Visit to Flyin’ Miata, October 2013

Since I planned to order the kit from Flyin’ Miata in December, 2013, I wanted to visit with FM and scout things out a bit before that.  In October, I drove out there for a visit and to purchase some parts.

The weather was decent for October in the Rockies.  Keebler PassKeebler Pass

My first effort was to make contact with Keith Tanner, the Miata Guru.

After that, take a close look at the new chassis that they were building.  You can (and should)  go to the FM web site and take a close look at their build of this first Exocet, as well as their radical XXXocet.

I also toured their shop (way cool), and bought some of the used parts I would refurbish and install.

The guys there are great.  They let me look and take pictures to my hearts content.  I wasted a lot of their time, and they were very gracious.
